About

An example of POST-HAB, the Obstruction of Justice House stands tall prior to its destruction by arson fire in May, 2013.

POST-HAB

/POST-HAB/ :The condition of a space when it no longer serves its original, intended purpose

What was once a residential home on Heidelberg Street, the Number House is no longer used as its intended purpose as a conventional living space but serves as a vibrant home for art. The POST-HAB gallery hosts art exhibitions featuring local artists and provides a platform for emerging artists in Detroit.
